Delicious food, stunning views, colours and smells of the gardens - combined with the beautiful Live music of Swing '39. 

The lively music of 'SWING 39' is inspired by the Dixieland tradition and the swing music of the 30s and 40s. The classic repertoires such as "Sweet Georgia Brown", "Rosetta" and "China boy" are also performed in an itinerant way, with tuba bass and banjo replacing guitar and double bass as per the tradition of New Orleans marching bands. The repertoire is swing manouche - also called gipsy jazz - which sees the Belgian guitarist Django Reinhardt as its greatest exponent. The style is European, linked to the musette waltzes, to the gypsy tradition, and makes extensive use of the swing classics of the 30s and 40s. Engaging sounds, with immediate impact, marked by the "boom chick", the typical rhythmic accent of manouche gypsy swing. The musicians who compose it, coming from different musical experiences, all have in common a great passion for jazz. Michele Biancofiore.
