For the fourth and final evening of the series, we welcome you with L’isola delle rose: in the 1960s, engineer Giorgio Rosa builds a platform off the coast of Rimini and declares it an independent state — the Republic of the Rose Island. What begins as an act of freedom and rebellion soon attracts the attention of the Italian government, which considers it a threat. Between dreams, idealism, and love, Giorgio must defend his island against the authorities in a true story that is as absurd as it is fascinating.
